Innovation Village
After the big success at last year’s congress, we are pleased to welcome you again to the ESAIC Innovation Village 2025.
The Innovation Village, an open space in the exhibition, it’s a place where ESAIC, Industry Partners and delegates connect, discuss and present healthcare opportunities and challenges generated by innovation.
This year, we focus on three key areas of discussion: Sustainability, Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence, and Value Based Healthcare.
Programme coming soon.

Sustainability
ESAIC has recognised the importance of building a sustainability future with the Glasgow Declaration and ensuring sustainability remains a focal point within ESAIC activities. We lead an environmental sustainability agenda aimed at substantially minimising the carbon footprint of anaesthesiology and intensive care. This involves collaborative efforts with all pertinent stakeholders.

Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence
How connected Medical Devices are transforming Healthcare? A sequence of technological and cultural revolutions is enabling enhanced connectivity between technology and individuals. This advancement aims to boost the speed and precision of diagnoses and treatments, as well as to monitor and adjust patient behavior and health status in real-time.

Value Based Healthcare (VBH)
Value Based Healthcare aligns healthcare delivery with both patient expectations and the long-term goals of the healthcare system. For anaesthesiologists, VBH fosters better preoperative risk assessments, personalized anesthesia plans, and post-operative care that prioritize patient safety and recovery.
VBH encourages a more collaborative approach among multidisciplinary teams, ensuring coordinated care across the entire perioperative journey.

The engaging discussions from last year can be listened to here:
- Our monitors in the hospital should talk to each other
- Seamless integration: postoperative continuous vital sign monitoring
- The way to go: combining human and artificial intelligence
- Unlocking the mind: the power of new EEG parameters
- Navigating climate challenges through sustainable practices in the ICU and OR
