SAFEST Final Conference: Rotterdam 2026
The SAFEST Final Conference will take place on Friday, 5 June 2026, the day before the ESAIC’s annual Euroanaesthesia congress and will convene leaders in anaesthesiology and intensive care to share results, lessons learnt, and next steps from the SAFEST initiative. This session will highlight practical outcomes, implementation experience, and future collaboration to strengthen patient safety across Europe.
Programme
The SAFEST Final Conference programme presents the key outcomes of the SAFEST project, focusing on improving perioperative patient safety through harmonised, evidence-based practices.
Taking place on 5 June 2026 in Rotterdam, the day before Euroanaesthesia, it brings together clinicians, researchers and policymakers for a day of scientific sessions and discussion, exploring implementation, data and quality improvement across European healthcare systems.
Abstract submission
On behalf of the SAFEST Project Team, we invite you to submit abstracts for poster presentations and share your experience in hospital-level implementation and best practices to improve perioperative patient safety.
Accepted abstracts will be presented within the conference programme, contributing practical insights and supporting the translation of evidence into clinical practice.
