Scientific Programme

The scientific programme at Euroanaesthesia is where learning, sharing, and mutual growth come together.

This year’s programme reflects ESAIC’s commitment to clinical relevance, innovation and inclusivity. Carefully built by the ESAIC Scientific Committee and its expert forums, every proposed session is the result of rigorous teamwork between specialists from different fields. Addressing the evolving challenges of modern healthcare, they have brought together the latest knowledge in anaesthesiology, intensive care, pain, perioperative, and emergency medicine to offer a meaningful experience and practical takeaways to everyone attending.

Delegates can expect a rich blend of session formats fostering the exchange of ideas in a programme designed to offer a space to connect, question, and grow.

Join us at the next Euroanaesthesia to explore what’s new… one session, one conversation, one breakthrough at a time.

Join a Problem-Based Learning Discussion (PBLD)

Experience an interactive learning format designed to sharpen your clinical reasoning through real-world scenarios. These sessions focus on collaborative problem-solving and practical application, covering key topics in anaesthesiology, perioperative care, and intensive care medicine.

During each PBLD, participants explore complex cases, share perspectives, and develop practical solutions together.

Two ways to participate:

To maximise engagement and accommodate different learning styles, PBLDs offer two participation options:

  1. Active engagement in the discussion
    • Participants sit in a circle around the facilitator for direct interaction.
    • Limited to 30 participants.
    • Registration at the room entrance on a first-come, first-served basis.
  2. Observation from the tribune
    • Follow the discussion as an observer from the seating area at the back of the room.
    • Open access, subject to overall room capacity.

This unique set-up promotes dynamic exchange while accommodating different learning preferences. Whether you join the circle or observe from the tribune, you’ll gain valuable insights to apply immediately in practice.
