Euroanaesthesia is recognised worldwide as one of the most important and influential annual congresses in anaesthesiology and intensive care. With a history of international participants from more than 100 countries and over 130 exhibitors, Euroanaesthesia is truly an outstanding international platform to enhance knowledge, review innovative techniques, learn on our guidelines, and communicate, collaborate and network with a large international audience.
This year, Euroanaesthesia will be held from 25 May 2024 – 27 May 2024 in Munich, Germany.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is our pleasure to welcome you to Euroanaesthesia 2024 (EA24), the leading congress for anaesthesiologists and intensivists, taking place in the lively city of Munich, Germany. From 25 to 27 May 2024, we will gather to connect, learn, and share our insights in a stimulating and interactive setting.
Euroanaesthesia is an essential event for our community, and this year’s edition is poised to deliver an outstanding experience. Our programme covers a wide range of topics, such as general anaesthesiology, intensive care, critical emergency, and pain medicine. Sessions will explore patients’ views, novel therapies, advances in organ-specific interventions, and more.
We have designed scientific sessions in various formats that suit different learning styles to facilitate active learning. Moreover, our workshops programme offers a combination of practical training experiences and innovative approaches to medical education. Delegates will be able to develop technical and non-technical skills through hands-on workshops, simulation sessions, and serious games tailored for all levels of expertise.
The ESAIC Expo returns at Euroanaesthesia 2024, showcasing the exciting projects and initiatives led by the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC). This central room provides an excellent opportunity for delegates to interact with key stakeholders of ESAIC projects and committees. We encourage you to visit this space as it serves as a hub for exchanging knowledge and fostering collaboration within our remarkable community.
As you immerse yourself in the enriching learning and networking opportunities at Euroanaesthesia 2024 in Munich, you will also have the chance to discover the vibrant city and its surroundings. Munich offers a captivating mix of history, culture, and natural beauty. There is much to explore, from its renowned architecture to its picturesque parks and gardens.
Known as “München” in German, the name Munich means “Home of the Monks.” Its origins date back to the Benedictine monks who founded a monastery here in the Middle Ages. Over time, Munich has evolved into a dynamic metropolis while preserving its rich heritage.
Euroanaesthesia 2024 will serve as an important platform for industry partners to present their latest developments and breakthroughs in our field. This exhibition of cutting-edge innovations will provide valuable insights into emerging trends and technologies that are shaping anaesthesiology, intensive care medicine, pain management, perioperative medicine, and critical emergency medicine.
With a steadfast commitment to advancing our shared understanding of complex issues within our discipline, Euroanaesthesia 2024 promises to be an unparalleled forum for sharing knowledge and best practices. Our collective efforts during this congress will foster progress and innovation in anaesthesiology and intensive care medicine.
We warmly welcome you to Euroanaesthesia 2024, Europe’s premier event for professionals in our field.
