Simulation Lab

Our Simulation Lab in Munich will provide participants with a fully immersive experience in simulation-based and experiential learning. Elaborated by experts in simulation, the programme features no less than 20 sessions using either high-fidelity or procedural simulation training in various fields of anaesthesia, intensive care and emergency medicine.

Attendance to simulation workshops is limited and requires pre-registration only available to delegates registered for the physical congress in Munich.

Without a workshop registration, congress delegates are all welcome to have a peek into our Sim Lab located in an open view setting.

Anaesthesiologists have been pioneers in the use of high-fidelity mannequins to study human factors and improve crisis resources management skills for critical situations. High-fidelity sessions will give the opportunity to participants to manage challenging clinical scenarios using a patient simulator, and to receive constructive feedback during a debriefing session with skilled instructors.

During procedural sessions, hands-on training will be provided on specific perioperative procedures using a variety of live models, virtual reality simulators, part-task trainers and ultrasound machines.
